Hazrat Abu Saeed and Hazrat Abu Huraira described what Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) said:
Allah descends to the lower heaven after one-third of the initial night has passed and asks, ‘‘Is there someone who needs forgiveness?’’ Is anyone remorseful? Does someone need pity and favor? Does a solicitor exist? Until dawn arrives, (Muslim: 6:205)
